How can I add php support to a netbeans 8.2 nodejs project

I thought this would be relatively straight forward. I have an existing netbeans nodejs project. However, parts of it run php files on a local apache server.

I can configure a php project to work without problems but I cannot get php to run within the nodejs project. There is not the run configuration options in a nodejs project properties.

Is there anyway to run php files from within a nodejs or HTML5 project?
