Migrating from Google Apps Script to Node.js

I've written a lot of code in script editor / apps script for a google-sheets-based CRM. Want to move over to a proper database and sub the sheet UI out for a dashboard while continuing to use Drive, Gmail, Sheets etc.

Is there a relatively simple way to do this? Any tips or thoughts?
