I found a tutorial on installing thrift in order to have nodejs integrate with an hbase server. The installation instructions has one install thrift on the hbase server and run a test nodejs script to test it. The test script cannot run on a remote machine unless the hbase client for nodejs is installed and there is no working client available for that. Does anyone have a working setup for this and could you please provide assistance in getting this setup or at least explained?
