can someone give me simple example of use of npm: node-ipc

I have been reading this library: https://www.npmjs.com/package/node-ipc for a while, but I just can not apply it in my typescript code.

this is the only example I've found, but there's no explanations: https://github.com/RIAEvangelist/node-ipc/tree/master/example/rawBuffer

I would be more than grateful for any simple example with good EXPLANATION. Thank you.
