Capture events of specific database mysql with node js

I wanna use Node JS to delete all setTimeout jQuery function for chat and notification user, i find in npm "mysql event" but I could not make it work, my problem is how to capture if a new row has been add in table (insert, update, delete) to execute some code in jquery.

If there are other solutions thank you well.
