How to read an barcode image and parse it to get the contents in NodeJS/AngularJS?

I want to do the following, 1. Read an image (captured in camera) which has a barcode (format - PDF417), 2. Recognize the barcode in the image 3. Parse it to get the contents

I want to achieve the above functionality using NodeJS/AngularJS or any other JavaScript libraries. Can anyone help me on the same?
