node app.js is not connecting mongodb after mongodb updation

Prevoiusly I was using mongodb 3.0. No I updated to mongodb 3.4. After that whenever I try to run node, its showing this error "MongoError: Authentication failed.". But if we try with "sudo node app.js" it will connect mongodb, and it will work fine.
