I have a 3 node cassandra cluster (apache 3.0) and I am trying to decommission one of the nodes and form a different clusters with that decommissioned node.
I decommission one node and cleared the data and logs dir and changed the seed to be its own ip and restarted cassandra. but it keeps forming cluster with other two nodes which i don't want.
Can some one please suggest how to achieve this ?
