I've tested both things.
- Nginx and PHP scripts that serves REST Api (general).
- Nodejs in front and stay connected to 3-4 instance of PHP server (written in PHP) using sockets for input/output to process rest api information. PHP here keeps running in RAM and db connections are persistent here.
So i've tested both things and 2nd one's performance is amazing what could be drawbacks of this approach and will it be stable in production.
