Adaptive.io - Bot Framework

In order to implement a custom carousel for an ImageSet render on Adaptive.io, I am trying to write custom code in:

Image.prototype.internalRender = function () {
    ...
}

I am using the adaptive.io on a custom webchat and not going through the bot framework. I am following the examples as mentioned on http://adaptivecards.io/samples/ and http://adaptivecards.io/samples/samples.js.
