wait for auth credentials when getting a page from my server

How can i make s specific get request in my server to wait for username and password when someone is trying to make a get request for that page?

I mean, sometimes I see specific pages that when you try to access them a popup window shows asking for username and password and if you are authorized you get the content of that page.
