Multiple inputs/usercursors in one text area

I wish to make a textarea or somethig of similar function where 2 different users are able to input at the same time.

I wish to achieve this with socket.io and express with nodejs.

I am fairly sound with html css and socket.io. But i am stuck finding any information on how to get two inputs on a single text input element.

Q. Is it possible to have multiple input cursors on a text input element.
