Ryan Dahl saying php is not important [on hold]

Yesterday, I was wasting time on Youtube and I came across a video of Ryan Dahl (the creator of Node.js) bashing php.

He says sarcastically that php is "important". (Video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ubBCCYSnCA)

This seemed strange to me. I'm just a teenage hobbyist programmer, but I think php is pretty important. He made Node.js, which is a serve-side language like php, so he might just be saying that his is better. (But I 99% sure they don't do the same thing).

Anyways, anyone who wants to hazard an answer, go ahead.
